With Renegades departing from Tribes Vengeance we are releasing much of the work that was put into this mod for TV. We are releasing vitually all of our code, and maps to the community. The code download link can be found below, and the maps are being converted back to base and will be released in a map pack at a later date.
Renegades was coded without every modifying the base source, this ensured that as new patches etc were released we would have no problem merging them in. It also makes it easy to see what ren has added. Currently we have 18,000+ lines of code of renegades we are releasing. All we ask is that any time you copy the code you leave our header in place and that when you use our code you give us credit in your Readme/Game. If anyone thinks any of this is unfair we are more than happy to listen, just contact us. Our source structure was Game,RenWerX,Unreal (so this is most likely what you will want to keep).
Finally I would like to give a HUGE thanks to one of our members, Byte. He has been a godsend and probably coded 80% of this mod himself:) Anything that looks cool in the source is undoubtedly his.
